Realistic Goal Setting

  • Walking 5k steps per day for 3 days: by wearing a step tracker and scheduling in a daily walk during a work break or at the end of your day. We often hear about the goal of 10k steps/day, and if that feels unattainable, we break it down into a smaller goal for a smaller amount of time.


Now it’s your turn… what kind of bite-sized, tangible goal can you put into practice in the next week or month? A mini-version of a bigger goal, something you have a high likelihood of checking off and building that self-efficacy so that you know you can achieve the bigger goals. Ready, set… GOAL!
